A propos de l’auteur

Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Eric lived with his grandmother and his younger sister, who was born three years later. Eric and his sister were moved in and out of foster care; they never knew home until they were separated from each other after their third and final time in foster care. In the summer of 2008, Eric moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to finally meet the father he hadn’t known for thirteen years. Later on, Eric moved back and forth between Charlotte and Brooklyn because of parental and domestic instability and financial complications. Between 2012 and 2013, Eric permanently lived with a newly found mentor of his, and she diligently motivated him to continue living the rest of his teenage years through and help him plan his life ahead accordingly.
