F. Scott Fitzgerald was one of the most notable and public American writers during the Roaring Twenties, and well after he had flamed out both professionally and personally, there was a revival of interest in his works, especially The Great Gatsby , which is now considered one of the Great American Novels. He does this by analyzing a relationship between a young man ad his wife, an obvious reference to his own relationship with his wife Zelda.
