Fabio Bagarello, Ph D, is Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Palermo. His research interests include the application of quantum mechanics to macroscopic systems as well as the applications of functional analysis and operator theory to quantum mechanics. He is the author of numerous scientific papers on these topics in peer-reviewed journals in addition to some research books and several edited volumes.
Francesco Gargano, Ph D, is Assistant Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Palermo. His research topics include operatorial methods for modeling macroscopic systems, operator theory for non-Hermitian quantum mechanics, computational fluid-dynamics, and analysis of reaction-diffusion models for biological systems. He is the author of numerous scientific papers on these topics in peer-reviewed journals. Francesco Oliveri, Ph D, is Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Messina. His research interests include mathematical apparatus of quantum mechanics for the modelization of macroscopic systems, Lie symmetries of differential equations, thermodynamics of continuous media with nonlocal constitutive relations, and computer algebra. He is the author of numerous scientific papers on these topics in peer-reviewed journals and editor of some volumes.
