Heidi Hartmann, geboren 1971, studierte Sportwissenschaft und Pädagogik auf Magister in Oldenburg; einige Jahre später studierte sie außerdem Germanistik und schloss ihr Lehramtsstudium ab. In den Jahren 1999-2007 war Hartmann Profiboxerin und hielt 2004-2007 den Titel der Weltmeisterin im Verband WIBF (Women's International Boxing Federation). Heute ist sie Gymnasiallehrerin für die Fächer Deutsch und Sport und ehrenamtliche Trainerin für Kickboxen, Boxen, Traditionelles Taekwon-Do und Karate.
