J.A. Baart, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, Vrije
Universiteit Medical Centre and Academic Centre for Dentistry
Amsterdam (ACTA), Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For more than three
decades, Dr Baart has taught the dental students of ACTA in oral
and maxillofacial surgery and the practical aspects of the
administration of local anaesthetics. He now coordinates the course
‘Introduction to local anaesthesia’ at ACTA.
