LAWRENCE SCOTT is from Trinidad and Tobago, resident in London. He is the author of the much acclaimed novel Witchbroom and Ballad for the New World, which contains the award-winning short story « The House of Funerals ». Scott has been a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4″s The Short Story. He now combines his writing with teaching English.
