A heart warming retelling of a true story about an injured race horse and the love and hard work of a little girl that produced a triumphant team. This is one of countless success stories from Brook Hill Farm which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of horses.
A propos de l’auteur
The author is not a professional writer but a small town girl who grew up showing and loving horses. Lisa knows the hours and hard work it takes to care for and train horses. She became aware of the program at Brook Hill Farm when her niece, Morgan Rogers, the illustrator of the book, participated in the riding program there. The love of horses, dedication, and hours donated by many volunteers sparked an interest and concern that motivated Lisa to transcribe this story in order to spread the word about the programs and service being done at Brook Hill Farm to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for horses.
