Michael K. Iwoleit, geboren 1962 in Düsseldorf, veröffentlicht seit 1984 Science-Fiction, zumeist in Form der Dystopie in einer nahen Zukunft. Er erhielt vor allem für seine Novellen zahlreiche Preise und hat sich auch als Übersetzer, Essayist und Kritiker einen Namen gemacht. Seit 2002 ist er Mitherausgeber des Science-Fiction-Magazins Nova.
