Process intensification aims for increasing efficiency and sustainability of (bio-)chemical production processes. The second book of our two-book series focusses entirely on process intensifi cation by centrifugally enhanced (reactive) separations. The book provides an overview of the main applications of rotating packed beds (RPBs) in liquid-liquid, gas-liquid and vapor-liquid contacting, within academic research and industrial applications. Ph D is Process Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen and habilitation in Fluid Separations at TU Dortmund. Sine 2020 appointed as professor for Process Systems Engineering at TU Hamburg.
Prof. Andrzej Górak
Received his habilitation degree from RWTH Aachen and Warsaw University of Technology. In 1992 he was appointed as professor for Fluid Separations at TU Dortmund and is now professor at the Technical University of Lodz.
