Dr. Mukesh Saraswat is an associate professor at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, India. Dr. Saraswat has obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from ABV-IIITM Gwalior, India. He has more than 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has guided 02 Ph.D. students, more than 50 M. Tech. and B.Tech. dissertations and is presently guiding 04 Ph.D. students. He has published more than 55 journal and conference papers in the area of image processing, pattern recognition, data mining, and soft computing. He was the part of successfully completed DRDE funded project on image analysis and SERB-DST (New Delhi) funded project on histopathological image analysis. He is currently running a project funded by collaborative research scheme (CRS), under TEQIP III (RTU-ATU) on Smile. He has been an active member of many organizing committees of various conferences and workshops. He is also a guest editor of the
Array, journal of Swarm Intelligence, and
Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics. He is an active member of IEEE, ACM, and CSI Professional Bodies. His research areas include image processing, pattern recognition, mining, and soft computing.
Dr. Harish Sharma is an associate professor at Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, in Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He has worked at Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, and Government Engineering College Jhalawar. He received his B.Tech. and M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Kota, and Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, in 2003 and 2009, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. from ABV—Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India. He is the secretary and one of the founder members of Soft Computing Research Society of India. He is a lifetime member of Cryptology Research Society of India, ISI, Kolkata. He is an associate editor of
International Journal of Swarm Intelligence (IJSI) published by Inderscience. He has also edited special issues of the many reputed journals like
Memetic Computing,
Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Artificial Intelligence,
Evolutionary Intelligence, etc. His primary area of interest is nature-inspired optimization techniques. He has contributed in more than 65 papers published in various international journals and conferences.
Dr. Karm Veer Arya achieved the Master of Engineering (M. E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (I.I.Sc.), Bengaluru, India, and earned Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T. Kanpur), Kanpur, India. Presently, he is working as a professor at ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Gwalior, India. He also served at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, MJP Rohilkhand University Bareilly, and worked as the dean (PG Studies & Research) at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India. He was a summer visiting faculty at San Diego State University, San Diego, California, USA, in June–July 2013. He has more than 30 years of experience to teach the undergraduate and postgraduate classes. He has guided 11 Ph.D. and 95 M.Tech. dissertations and is presently guiding 05 Ph.D. and 3 M.Tech. students. He was part of Indo-UK Cyber security summit organized in March 2013 jointly by Research Council UK and DST, India. Dr. Arya has published approximately 200 research papers in International journals and conferences and co-authored a book titled
Security in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks also, and edited two books, namely
Emerging Wireless Communication and
Biometric Computing published by Springer, and Taylor & Francis, respectively. He has successfully completed couple of funded projects on image analysis. Dr. Arya has chaired the technical sessions in international and national conferences in India and abroad and delivered many invited talks/keynotes in India and abroad. Dr. Arya is on the editorial board of many international journals. He has edited the Proceedings of 9th IEEE International Conference on Industrial & Information Systems (ICIIS2014) held on December 15–17, 2014, at Gwalior, India, and currently is the member of organizing committee and program committee for various national and international conferences and workshops. He is a senior member of IEEE, a fellow of IETE, a fellow Institution of Engineers (India), a member of ACM, and a life member of ISTE.
