Nayaswami Gyandev Mc Cord, Ph D For more than thirty years, Nayaswami Gyandev has retold the Mahabharata to audiences all over the world. He is a senior teach-er with Ananda Sangha Worldwide and has taught all aspects of the Yoga tradition for more than forty years. He is a Kriyacharya (teacher of Kriya Yoga) and a longtime disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi. He has authored numerous books and videos, including Spiritual Yoga: Awakening to Higher Awareness and the forty-eight videos of The Ananda Yoga Series. Gyandev is director of Ananda Yoga worldwide and a co-founder of Yoga Alliance.
