I have always loved flowers. I love their vibrant colours and their wonderful and exotic scents. They uplift me and make me feel happy. As I sat in front of each of these flowers whilst painting, I found that I became one with them and they began to speak to me, sharing their profound beauty and deep wisdom. Before these experiences, I had always thought of petunias as unremarkable and rather ordinary flowers. Since having entered deeply into their souls, I will never again see them as either ordinary or unremarkable. I wish to thank the generous abundance of Mother Nature, and let her know with this humble offering, how very much I love and respect her.
