Phillip James Edwin Peebles is a Nobel Prize–winning physicist and the author of
Cosmology’s Century,
Principles of Physical Cosmology, and
Quantum Mechanics (all Princeton). He is the Albert Einstein Professor of Science Emeritus in the Department of Physics at Princeton University.
