Life is a journey. New believers need maps in order to chart the focus of their early steps. Through over thirty years as a pastor, Phil Scott has shared the journey with tens of thousands of new Christ followers. Phil discovered that one size doesn’t fit all in mentoring new believers to spiritual formation, but equipping them with some basic disciplines will help them to battle against Satan’s strategy to reclaim them. Phil is a church insider who knows the overwhelming joys and the gut-wrenching sorrows that new believers will encounter as they grow. His daily prayer could be summarized like this, “Dear Father, I do not ask for you to make my path easy, but I beg you to make me strong so that I may please you regardless of the crucibles or uncertainties that I may face.”
