PIERRE GASPARD is a permanent scientific researcher at the National Fund for Scientific Research (FNRS Belgium) at the Center for Nonlinear Phenomena and Complex Systems of the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. A specialist in classical and quantum dynamical systems theory, he has made several contributions to the semiclassical theory of intramolecular and reaction dynamics as well as to the control of chemical reactions, in collaboration with Prof. S. A. Rice.
IRENE BURGHARDT received her Ph D. in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy in 1992 from the Universite de Lausanne, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. G. Bodenhausen.
