Rachel and Roxanne have written several books together, while Rachel was growing up. Roxanne has taken writing classes from several well-known authors and won a creative writing award and scholarship while in college. Rachel has been writing books since her second-grade year when her teacher inspired her to write and she won the Young Author’s Award. Roxanne and Rachel started writing together about Rachel’s new school together ever since. They changed the name of the school slightly and blended the personalities of Rachel’s classmates and Roxanne’s students to come up with humorous fictional characters that find themselves in familiar but mysterious situations.
