Beneath the surface of the cold waters of Planet Klepnar.  A member of the Waznuk warrior mermaid clan, Seraphina, is devasted and appalled when she discovers her beloved Harpon trap is responsible for a oung man, Damon’s grousome demise.  Seraphina vows to put an end to this attrocity but todo so se must efeat a fellow member, the abhorrent Arreilla.  Alll while an ancient battle for dominance unfolds with a rival clan.

Above the surface an alcoholic leiutenant with the Aznar Bay Police Departmen, Bob Clement, battles with the harsh sulpuric environment of Aznar as he searches for the missing young man.  Damon’s parent struggle with the thought of life without thier son.

Two worlds colide as Seraphina rises to power by not wavering from her beliefs and Bob finds what he doesn’t know he is looking for.
