She blogs for the Guardian, the London Review of Books,  and the Scottish Book Trust, and is an accredited blogger for the Huffington Post. She is a member of the U.K. writers » collective “26” and of the Society of Authors, the Historical Writers Association, the Historical Novel Association, and the Crime Writers Association. She lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she also runs the feminist perfume brand, REEK.perfume.
