A propos de l’auteur

Mein Name ist Steffen (My name is Steven) and I am the creator and founder of Gbo E method. I grew up in Northwest Germany, right next to Netherlands. Growing up in a border region has made me curious about languages already at a young age. After spending a High School year in Minnesota, USA I decided to study languages at the University of Bremen, close to my hometown in Germany. In 2013 I graduated with the Master of Education in English speaking languages and cultures and Spanish language and literature. Once I started to teach German, my mother tongue language, at a language school, I realized even more how similar English and German actually are. This is when I came up with the idea to create a method that takes advantage of what English speakers already know about German to make learning as natural and easy as possible for anyone who knows English. As Arthur Ashe, an American professional tennis player once said:’Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.’
