Beautiful Maddie Quinn grew up dreaming of a better life, as did most Depression-era teenagers. She married in 1946 at the age of eighteen in pursuit of this dream. By 1960, however, she knew their marriage was lost, but with two children, ages nine and ten, what was she to do. Maddie was working as a waitress at a high-end restaurant to earn extra money.
