T. C. Shelley has been writing short stories and poems for years. She started writing middle grade novels to entertain her daughter, who encouraged her to share her work with others. The Boy Who Hatched Monsters is the third book of her middle grade fantasy series and was released by Bloomsbury this year. She is a seasoned high school teacher and also lectures in Creative Writing at Sheridan Institute. She lives in Perth with her family and her two dogs.
