When Allan Montague arrives in New York, he is swept into the lifestyle of the fashionable. They know him through his father who was a General in the war. The longer he stays in New York, the more he realizes that there is a huge disparity between the classes. When an injustice befalls the poor, Allan is the first to fight for what is right.
