The facts narrated here continue to be experienced by billions of people every night, as they have ever since antiquity. The difference now is that communication of these experiences is increasing with every year that passes, without the folkloric and mystical connotations which have been attached to them for thousands of years.

Waldo Vieira was born on April 12, 1932 in Monte Carmelo, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and passed away on July, 2, 2015 in Foz do Iguaçu, state of Parana, Brazil, where he lived since 2000.
A graduate in Medicine and Dentistry and the proposer of the neosciences projectiology and conscientiology, which he systematized in the treatises Projectiology: A Panorama of Experiences of the Consciousness Outside the Human Body (1986), and 700 Conscientiology
Experiments (1994).
Cognopolis (City of Knowledge) is a neighbourhood in Foz do Iguaçu conceived by Dr Vieira and here he taught daily from 2002 to 2014 in the Conscientiological Tertulias, and from 2013 to 2015 in the Conscientiological Minitertulias, in the Tertuliarium at the Centre for the Higher Studies of Conscientiology ( CEAEC).
Vieira also conceived and structured the Holoteca at the CEAEC, with the donation of his personal library on the subjects of consciousness and the out-of-body experience, and the Holocycle, an environment specialized in lexicography, where he coordinated research teams that developed the Encyclopaedia of Conscientiology, of which he was the creator, organizer, and the author of 2019 entries.
Vieira is cited in the British publication Who´s Who in the 21st Century, a book published by the IBC – International Biographical Centre. He is the author of 25 books on the subjects of conscientiology, including treaties and lexicons.
