Professor Yakir Z. Shoshani received his BSc and MSc in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and his PhD in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from Tel Aviv University, Israel, in 1975. Between 1994 and 2000, he served as the Vice-President for Research and Development of Shenkar College, Israel, and, from 2007 to 2016 he was the chairman of the council of faculty organizations of 16 public colleges in Israel. He has published numerous scientific papers in various journals, and six books in philosophy, including Apriorics: A Model of Elementary Particles and Beyond (2016).Asher Z. Yahalom is a Full Professor and Vice Dean in the Faculty of Engineering at Ariel University and the Academic Director of the Free Electron Laser User Center at this university. He holds MSc and PhD degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He works within a wide range of scientific and technological subjects, ranging from the foundations of quantum mechanics to molecular dynamics, fluid dynamics, electromagnetism, communications, signal processing and imaging. His publications include the book Advances in Classical Field Theory, as well as over 200 book chapters and journal articles.
