Their sojourn is a pilgrimage, which also retraces a previous path taken by Bubba, who dropped out of high school in the 1960s to become a homeless, hippie hobo. Gabe and Bubba narrate their odyssey in descriptive detail, inviting readers to ride along for a veritable, vicarious, vacation adventure.

William (Bubba) Allen, Ph D, professor, actor, and tennis professional, is a graduate of Springfield College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Temple University. He taught world religions at Temple University, Austin College, Bucknell University, Muhlenberg College, and the University of the Arts.
