Ira Sharkansky is professor emeritus of political science and public administration at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He had previous appointments at the University of Utah, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Brigham Young University. In addition he is author of several works, including The Political Economy of Israel, Governing Israel, and Coping with Terror.
