These are love poems to a wonderful lady I knew from forty-five years ago but was afraid to tell her I loved her at the time! I was just starting a nasty divorce, and I had four young kids. I didnt want to put her in the middle of all that! Now that all this is behind me, I can now tell her how I felt back then, and how I feel the same today!

George Mc Kinney was born in Long Beach, California, in 1943. From 1954 until 2015, he spent most of his life in the Sacramento, California, area. He retired twenty years ago after almost thirty years as a deputy sheriff. He has four children by birth and three stepchildren from his marriage, sixteen grandkids and ten great-grandkids! He lost his wife to Influenza two and a half years ago and thought love would never be found again! This book proves it is possible to find lost love, even in your seventies!
