Gerald Cumberland is the pseudonym of Charles Frederick Kenyon (1879-1926). His works include A Lover at Forty (1900), Tales of a Cruel Country (1919), The Poisoner (1921), Written in Friendship: A Book of Reminiscences (1923), Memorizing Music (Musician’s Handbooks) (1927), and the libretto for Cleopatra, a cantata by Julius Harrison.
