About the author
Glenn Clark (1882-1956) was professor of English at Macalester College. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, he graduated from Grinnell College—with the aim of sharing his religious faith with others. The author of The Soul’s Sincere Desire, he founded a network of Christian training camps, Camps Farthest Out, in 1930, as well as the magazine Clear Horizons in 1940.
