About the author

Grace was raised in a military family with her father serving in WWII and Korea and her brother in Vietnam. She then married a veteran, and now her son is serving. All of the men in her immediate family have served, and as a daughter, sister, wife, and mother of a veteran, she now shares some secrets that helped bring her family closer. Grace also is a recovered drug addict and alcoholic with twenty-two years of sobriety. Grace also has dealt with problems of violence in her family and had to overcome rage and violence herself. Tackling these problems head on, she has found that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and baptism in the Holy Spirit have given her the tools to forgive and change. The power of God has the answers for our returning veterans and their family members.
Today, Grace works with the homeless in her own city. She also works to help the poor around the world and is the founder of Intercession Ministries.
Grace is single and lives with her two cats, Garfield and Mouse.
