Henry Foust is an assistant professor and assistant chair for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Technology at the University of Houston–Downtown and has been in higher education for over 14 years. His interest is in solid/liquid and liquid/gas flows to include combustion systems. He has previously written a textbook on thermodynamics and combustion that is available as Thermodynamics, Gas Dynamics, and Combustion through Springer. He has over $900, 000 in research and equipment grants, has published over a dozen peer reviewed papers, and has given near three dozen presentations at international conferences or leading conferences. He has also conduced over a dozen undergraduate research experiences with over 20 undergraduate students.
