Herbert George Jenkins (1876–1923) was an English writer and publisher best known for his humorous works, most notably the idle life of Mr. Joseph Bindle, a series which gained him considerable popularity during his time. He founded his own publishing company, Herbert Jenkins Ltd., which allowed him to foster the creative freedom to bring his characters to life.
