Brigham Henry Roberts (1857-1933) was a historian, politician, and leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He published a popular six-volume history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also wrote Studies of the Book of Mormon – published posthumously – which discussed the validity of the Book of Mormon as an ancient record. Roberts wrote two biographies, a novel, eight historical narratives and compilations, and another dozen books about Mormon theology.
