Ben D. Mahaffey has been a Writer, Printer, Forest Ranger, College Professor, Private Consultant and Businessman. He has publications in journals, magazines and books. This is Part IV of his series of auto-biographical stories on hunting and fishing. He has been married to the former Barbara Alice Proud for 52 years. He has three sons: Mark, Clark and Scott and five grandchildren. He resides in Vernal, Utah.
