He has also been a higher education consultant across the world including for the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the European Union. He is also broadcaster and columnist, blogger and commentator on a range of issues. A pioneer of sports studies he has presented to bodies like the International Olympic Committee and several international sports-related organisations. Brian Stoddart is also a cruise ship lecturer, photographer and keen mountain biker.
