Irvine has returned to his hometown of Valen for the yearly harvest festival. Despite difficult memories involving an unexplainable fire, he is nonetheless excited to return home. Erika, the blacksmith’s daughter, and childhood friend of Irvine, is even more elated.

Both are determined to make it a night to remember, but when a Daemon of ancient lore attacks, they must flee their home.

Now, they must embark on a harrowing quest through the foreboding Mystholt forest, and the Seraphine mountains to reach the capital city of Sildenfeld. All while navigating Erika’s hereditary secrets, and a binding Draconic pact.

Racing against the growing power of the murderous creature and a mysterious man pursuing them, the two must learn to lean on one another like they never have before if they are to survive.

Only if they reach Sildenfeld intact, will the world have a chance of outlasting the Daemonic threat.
