Her research focuses on the links between music, education and culture and much of her work concerns Aboriginal Australian performance practice, women”s music making and race relations.Denis Collins is a lecturer at the School of Music, The University of Queensland. He is an active researcher in various aspects of renaissance and baroque contrapuntal theory and practice.Samantha Owens lectures in historical musicology at the School of Music, The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on German baroque performance practice, with specific reference to the early history of the orchestra.
