I didn’t realise that Sue was taking over me. What I thought was a friendly hand, was the grip of the devil trying to control me. She was dominating and suffocating. When I became aware of it, I wanted to get out of her grasp, but she wouldn’t let me go.
I was eight months pregnant; my husband was away on business when Sue and her friend came tovisit. As we were drinking juice, I was suddenly struck with an unbearable pain – my contractions had started. I lost all my strength and could not see properly, it was as if I were floating in the darkness, until a needle-like pain pierced my arm. I begged them to call an ambulance, but they did not take any notice of me.
I heard the baby’s cry, “my baby! give me my baby!” I pleaded. I lost consciousness and when I woke, I was told it was a stillbirth. I did not believe it; I know what I heard. Sue stole my baby.
