Haifeng Yang was born in 1969. He is a tenured professor of Peking University, department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. His research interests are: Marxist philosophy, foreign Marxist philosophy, Marx and Western thought. He has published books such as “The Mirror of Signs — a Textual Interpretation of Baudrillard’s Early Thoughts”, “The Critique of Metaphysics — the Contemporary Interpretation for the Theoretical Premise of Marxist Philosophy”, “Practical Philosophy and Hegemony — Gramsci Philosophy in Contemporary Context”, “The Logic of Western Marxism”.
