Yogesh Joshi is a Research Fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) at the National University of Singapore. He is also a non-resident Global Policy Fellow with the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars, Washington DC. Ippeita Nishida is a Senior Fellow of the Security Studies Program at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF). In this position, he conducts research on Japan’s foreign engagement policies and tools, in particular, foreign aid and security cooperation (defence diplomacy). Devyani Chaturvedi is a Research Analyst at the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore. She graduated with a Master’s in International Affairs from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS), specialising in International Economics and Development.
