Xuedong asked me to add something to the front of his "little thing", a book called Notes on Campus Poetry. I understand he was asking me to preface it. Actually, it is quite difficult for me to give my opinions on or even lord it over his carefully conceived "little thing" with my clumsy writing skills which has become more lackluster in recent years and especially a lack of interest in poetry and prose. However, based on my years of familiarity and passion for the education profession as a teacher, a principal and a director of education bureau, I do have a desire to do more than adding something to his "little thing".
