Laurita is an assistant professor at the Physical Education Department of the S˜ao Paulo State University (UNESP, Rio Claro, S˜ao Paulo, Brazil). She graduated, received a master”s degree, and her Ph D in physical education from the University of Campinas (S˜ao Paulo, Brazil). She acts as an international women”s artistic gymnastics judge. Her research interests are: sport pedagogy and gymnastics pedagogy. She is a coordinator of the gymnastics research group at UNESP.
