They raised two children in the tiny home they crafted in a mountain forest near Taos, New Mexico, living without running water, plumbing, or electricity for more than twenty-four years. Heath continues to be Andy’s caregiver, embracing the best life they can while living with Parkinson’s disease for eighteen years.
