Steffen E. Eikenberry has over a decade of experience working in applied mathematics, and obtained a master”s degree in mathematics from Arizona State University, followed by a Ph D in biomedical engineering and an MD from the University of Southern California. In addition to his interest in consumption and global warming, his most recent academic work involves mathematically modeling the spread of mosquito-borne diseases, such as malaria, in a warming world.
