Lam Peng Er is a Senior Research Fellow at the East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore. He obtained his PhD from Columbia University. His two single-authored books are: Green Politics in Japan (1999) and Japan”s Peace-Building Diplomacy in Asia: Seeking an Active Political Role (2009), both published by Routledge.Victor Teo is Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong. He received his PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests lie mainly in the International Relations of the Asia Pacific, with particular emphasis on contemporary Sino-Japanese Relations.
