Reader, Department of Geography, Hindu College, Moradabad. 2. Principal, S.M. College, Dhampur. 3. Principal, K.G.K. College, Moradabad. 4. Member, U.P. Higher Education Service Commission, Allahabad. 5. Vice Chancellor, CCS. University, Meerut. He has written and edited half a dozen books on Practical Geography. Tourism Geography, Geography of India, Economy of Geography, Resource Geography, Environmental Geography and has been a frequent contributor to the professional journals. His role in the strengthening of geography research is widely acknowledged. Zubairul Islam is Head, Department of Geography, Bareilly College, Bareilly. He has edited books on Geog. of India, Eco. Geog. and Practical Geography. He is also working as co-Investigator in the U.G.C sponsored major project entitled “Municipal GIS resource mapping and planning : A case Study of Bareilly Municipal Corporation.”
