We meet physicist James Dalton, The Venerable Bede’s sparrow, cosmologist Carl Sagan, artist Paul Gauguin, Alice in Wonderland, thirteen characters real or imagined. The poems are interlaced with subtly changing refrains and the collection concludes with a transcription of an interview with John Hudson that took place during the Saint-Clementin festival in 2012.
