Alexander Campbell Fraser (1819-1914) was Scots philosopher, professor of logic and metaphysics, and dean of the faculty of arts at Edinburgh University. He edited the collected works of Bishop Berkeley, annotated works by John Locke, and became a proponent of David Hume’s skepticism. His works include an autobiography, Biographia Philosophica (1904); he also edited the North British Review.
