Alina Mihaela Dima is a Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages, Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania). She is the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Development and Innovation of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and previously she was Director of the UNESCO Department for Business Administration. Her main research fields of interest are International Business, Competition Policy, European Integration, Higher Education. She is the Chief-Editor of the international journal Management & Marketing. Challenges for Knowledge Society (Sciendo/De Gruyter) and the President of the association ‘Society for Business Excellence’. She was the editor of several international books, coordinator of national research projects and author of various papers published by prestigious international journals.
Fabrizio D’Ascenzo is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Professor of Production Management and ICT, University of Sapienza, Rome (Italy). Previously, he was Director of the Department of Management of the same University. He is Director of the Research Centre of Sapienza University “Impre Sapiens” and Delegate of the Rector for the relationships with companies. He is the Italian responsible for the Master course “Economy of enterprise, Quality and Innovation” conducted in partnership with the University of Economics (UNECON) of St. Petersburg in Russia and for the agreements of Sapienza with the University MGIMO of Moscow and with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He has been the scientific director of the project “Campus Mentis” conducted by Sapienza University on behalf of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He is author and co-author of more than two hundred books and papers published in Italy and abroad.
