Dena Shottenkirk is both an analytic philosopher and a practicing artist, who also has a background in art criticism with former staff positions at both Artforum and Art in America. She is currently adjunct associate professor with the MFA department at the Philadelphia College of Art as well as with the philosophy department at Brooklyn College.
